A break from the rain

Even amid the rain, 15 adults and several children worked cheerfully last Saturday.

Work accomplished:

Staff Cabin:
Added 2nd top plate to interior walls
Plumbed up interior walls and door openings
Installed drywall backing for walls and ceiling
Constructed new entry stairs and railings
Removed door plates
Installed H2.5s on trusses
Added missing 2x8 ceiling joist

Girls Bathroom:
Replaced some exterior siding as needed with 3/8" OSB
Installed H2.5s on trusses

Boys Bathroom:
Moved dirt/concrete debris to outside
Framed all interior walls
Installed H2.5s on trusses

Excavation:
Dug new electrical underground ditches from Lower cabins to Boys Bath
Determined where power supply will run from Bathrooms to Cabins

Main Lodge:
Underground plumbing set in place
All floor sinks in
All 1x2 slats removed from siding

Girls Bathroom:
Replaced rotted exterior sill plate
Framed all interior walls
Marked floor for new toilet drains
Removed damaged siding and 1x2 slats

Boys Bathroom:
Removed 1x2 slats
Marked where new walls will be constructed
Marked floor for new toilet drains
Removed concrete around existing toilet drains

Staff Cabin:
Poured slab for exterior stairs
Installed new deck railing
Straightened existing exterior walls
Framed interior walls

Septic:
Installed new lines from both girls bathroom and lodge to drain field

Excavation:
Back filled south end of lodge and water/sewer lines
